Great Advice for Losing Tummy Fat

Have you seen yourself in the mirror earlier and noticed that large bulk-like tummy of yours? Has it turn into a really annoying thing that it's hard for you to zip your favorite jeans? Or worse, has someone even asked you if you were 6 months pregnant? Tsk Tsk. That is not a good news. It's the time that you do something very worthwhile. That would be losing tummy fat. In here, I'll be showing you a couple of good tips on losing tummy fat.

Losing Tummy Fat Tip #1: Don't Skip Meals

If there's one wrong thing that dieters do, it is skipping meals. Why so? The reason is because if you skip a meal, your body goes into starvation mode. Instead of losing tummy fat, it attempts to store them more as a defense mechanism. Thus, it becomes hard for you to shed off those pounds. Another thing is that if you do not eat a meal, like breakfast for instance, you may eventually eat more than you'' normally do for lunch.

Losing Tummy Fat #2: Skip the Sodas

If there's that one drink on the face of the earth that contains tons of calories, these are sodas. Sodas contain high sugar content that becomes fat when not used up by the body. Women tend to store this fat around their tummies. That's why if you want to be losing tummy fat, go for water or green tea to fill you up instead. Water is a good cleanser for the body while green tea helps you lose weight.

Losing Tummy Fat #3: More Protein, Less Carbs and Fats

Studies have shown that when you munch more protein such as beans, fish, lean meat, egg white and many others, you don't tend to binge or overeat. It has also been shown that the fattier your meal is, the greater your chance of snacking. Protein makes you feel fuller for longer. That's why you tend to snack less.


Losing Tummy Fat #4: Abdominal Exercises for You

Spare at least 30 minutes to an hour to do a couple of crunches to tone your belly and any cardio exercise such as cycling, running, and jogging so that you will be losing tummy fat faster. Try to do this 5-6 times a week and you'll be on your way to a flat belly.

Losing Tummy Fat #5: Fake It 'til You Make It

If you want the simplest way out, try to use tummy binders or shape formers. Who says you need to show your protuberant abdomen during events that require you to wear really fitting clothes such as cocktail parties? These shape formers were made from spandex that feel really stretchable and comfortable when used.

If you do all those activities, you are sure on your way to losing tummy fat. It doesn't need to make you feel like you're on a suffering. This has to be a fun journey for you so that you will be losing tummy fat, instead of retaining it. Good Luck.
