What to Do to Enhance Memory

By Sam Roxas

Have you ever had that feeling you're forgetting something and the worst part is, you can not really remember what it is! Well, I know what you feel and the solution to this is to do some things to boost your memory.

Now if you are already an adult, I am sure you're thinking that you simply might be a little too old and that your poor memory is just part of age. Well, that's true but there are numerous ways that you can do to deal with the effects of memory loss.

Here are some of the simplest ways to enhance your memory.

Live a Well balanced Way of living

And when I say a "balanced lifestyle," that would include correct eating habits, regular exercise and about 7 hours asleep every day.

When you follow a carefully balanced lifestyle, you'll augment your capability to process and recall information far faster and more accurately. Exercise increases oxygen to your cerebral cortex and this will definitely improve your memory. It can also aid in increasing and protect your brain cells.

You must also eat healthy foods. Some foods that are proved to boost memory would include berries, nuts and wholegrain.

Remember to never play down the importance of having a good night's rest. Your brain will be in a position to focus more and better if your grey matter is relaxed and has had the rest that it requires. Before, study shows that we need at least eight hours asleep everyday but up to date studies decide that seven hours is the final number to boost memory.

Abacus Maths Method

The Abacus math method is a revolutionary learning technique that's basically beneficial in learning maths. This is particularly for kids however it can be taught and learned to adults too.

With the abacus mathematics strategy, an individual would develop a better memory since you would be spending time with the abacus and understanding how each bead works. It promotes better brain function and it can actually have long-term effects in your memory's improvement.

Repeat and Practice

The more you repeat about something, the higher your chances are of retaining and recalling that info. When you are meant to do a task, make sure that you repeat that task over and over. At least three times. Some studies indicate that hearing something 3 times in a row can help you in remembering.

Also, if you're attempting to develop a habit, make sure that you repeat and practice that task for at least 21 times consecutively. Repeating an act 21 times would develop a habit. For example, if you are intended to take your tablets at 4:00 in the afternoon each day, use an alarm clock to remind you about that- at least for the first 21 days.

By Sam Roxas

In simple language mental math is using the human mind to calculate math problems. It's a very fast way to resolve mathematics and an extremely useful skill to master.

Mental math is comparatively easy for youngsters because a young brain can simply and swiftly absorb new info. But the problem is, kids are truly active and they are an enormous ball of energy.

Youngsters want to be constantly moving and playing so it is sort of hard for them to concentrate on an one thing for a very long time. Scientifically, they ought to be able to have a sharpened memory but then again, their kids. They do not need to get tied down to a chair and spend some time learning mathematical concepts and the multiplication table.

But there are some delicate ways you, the parent, can do to improve their memory and their mental math abilities.

1. Improve their diet

First off, you should provide them with a healthy diet that may boost memory. This includes nuts, berries (all types) and whole grain food.

1. Math is fun.

Next, you should show your youngsters that mathematics can and is fun. You can do it by sharing some mental math exercises with them.

As an example, you can ask your kids some real life eventualities that involve some calculations: change from groceries, total number of folks in line at the cashier, and many other things.

1. Frame their mindsets

An alternative way to help your youngsters with mental math is to talk to them and frame their perspective or concept about mathematics. Some children think that it is alright to be bad in maths because, well, that's basically what everybody says: maths is hard.

When you speak to your youngsters, tell them that it is possible to learn and enjoy math at the same time. The more they think it's easy, the less complicated it'll actually be.

1. Read to them before bedtime.

You can help enhance your child's memory by reading to them (or making them read) just before bed time.

Many studies suggest that the ultimate time of the day when the mind can memorize and remember info is during that period when the mind is about to relax and fall asleep.

A kid's subconscious is starting to get active at about that point, so, new info is stored into his long term memory. And the nicest thing? He isn't even aware of the fact that he is really learning new mental math tricks.

Mental maths doesn't have to be troublesome. It can actually be pretty fun. Just so long as you find the correct teachers or courses for your kids and you do whatever you can to help them, mental math courses can and will most likely be the best thing for your youngsters.
